wi membership form july 2017

The subscription rate for 2017 is £39.00 payable in January.  Cheque to be made payable to Tysoe Women’s Institute.

What does membership include?

Membership includes speakers, member rates for workshops and trips, discounted courses at Denman College, monthly magazine, quarterly WI Life.

What are the membership responsibilities?

Come and enjoy the meetings!  Make friends and have fun, participate in the competitions and craft afternoons.  Each month we ask for three or four volunteers to take on the role of serving drinks, tea and cakes. It’s not an onerous task and usually results in plenty of laughter.  The Committee members are on hand to help answer questions.

Duties include:
Provide cake or biscuits and milk, everything else is provided.
Arrive at the village hall at 7.00pm
Put out wine glasses and bowls of nibbles, ready to serve from 7.15pm
Set out cups etc ready for tea and coffee after the speaker.
Fill the water urn upon arrival at the hall.
Once the speaker finishes and the president and secretary make a few announcements, start preparing tea and coffee.
At the end of evening clear up, wash up and put away.
We also ask members to help put tables and chairs away; it doesn’t take long.
If you are able to help, please let the committee know so that we may build up a rota.
