Welcome to the February edition of our Newsletter. My goodness these four weeks have certainly passed quickly.
First of all I really cannot go any further without talking about “Tysoe WI’s Take on Burns Supper”. It was certainly well worth all the hard work by committee and sub committee members. I think it is safe to say that everybody had a truly wonderful evening. The few pictures above will give you a flavour of the evening.
Now, just a reminder to those who haven’t yet paid their subscription. Please let Liz have your cash or cheque for £42 in an envelope in an envelope marked with your name. I’m sure you do not want to miss any of the great speakers we have lined up over the course of the year, or miss any of the trips and events which will be held.
Whilst on the subject of trips etc Dee is working hard as usual to organise interesting outings etc. For those who are going to Parliament on March 22nd more details will be available next month.
The speaker at our meeting on February 6th is Stephen Bruce and his subject is “Buying and Selling at Auction”. If you have any item which you would like him to look at, or you have something which you would like to have valued, then Stephen would be happy to do this at the meeting. I think this will be an interesting meeting.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday when the competition will be “something Valentine related” which gives you a very wide scope.
