January 2019 Newsletter

new year black and gold

Hopefully you all had a lovely Christmas and managed to have a relaxing time too. We would like to wish you all a happy and healthy new year. I know they say that as we get older time goes more quickly but Christmas certainly seemed to race by this time.

We are looking forward to an interesting and productive year with some fascinating speakers

Our first meeting this year takes place on Wednesday January 9th when the subject matter will be “Flowers From The Farm” by our very own Jacqui Franklin and her husband Alan.  Please come along to support them.

I’d like to remind you that your annual subscription is due and the cost for 2019 is £42.  You can either use cash or a cheque made payable to Tysoe WI.   Please place your subs into an envelope, not forgetting to add your name to the front, and give the envelope to Liz at the meeting.

For those taking part in the visit to the Houses of Parliament Dee will need your payment at the January meeting if you have not already paid.  There are still a few places available. She will be announcing more trips and events in due course so watch this space.

Tickets for the Burns Night have now sold out I’m afraid.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday January 9th when the competition will be  “A Winter Craft Flower Arrangement.”
