Once again Tysoe W.I. have enjoyed a busy month with choir practices, our own walking group, a fabric flower making workshop, where we also learnt to make flowers from cupcake cases!
We helped with teas at the NGS weekend, it was wonderful to see our beautiful village full of people strolling around so many lovely gardens in the sunshine, well done Julia for organising and Liz for leading the Tea Team.
At our June meeting we lived through the history of Sulgrave Manor with Martin Sirot Smith in his fantastic costume and entertaining tales. We also celebrated the 90th birthday of one of our long standing members, Myrtle.
A group of us are visiting the Creative Craft Show at the NEC, something to fuel the imaginations of the Craft and Laugh Group!
In July many of us will be travelling to Marlow and Henley on Thames with Martins Coach, keeping our fingers crossed for good weather. Spaces left if anyone would like to join us.
Our July meeting is an evening with Cathy Morris with “Sing a Long with Cathy”
Promises to be great fun.
Once again Tysoe W.I. are providing teas for the Tysoe Flower Show in August. If anyone can bake a cake (or two) or would like to help please get in touch.
In addition to our monthly meetings, we have a number of trips, events and workshops coming up throughout the rest of the year, so watch out for posters, or come along to our meetings, £5 including glass of wine , nibbles, and of course tea and cake.
