Many of us have just enjoyed a very busy weekend. Twenty of us attended a felting workshop tutored by Keeley from Church Mouse, aided by her trusty assistant Pat, (think Debbie MgGee). Amid much laughter and chatter helped along by cakes and tea, we all managed to produce some pretty amazing Easter chicks and eggs!
Sunday saw 36 of us visiting The RSC at Stratford upon Avon, despite the freezing weather, where we started the afternoon ascending the tower for breathtaking views of Stratford and beyond. We then toured behind the scenes, learning about stage management, set building, costumes, make up and so much more. Fascinating and brilliant guides. We of course rounded the afternoon off with scones and more tea.
Had a really great time on Saturday and when I came home John was really taken with the little chicks. A better reaction than squirrel from last time … lol! Sorry I missed yesterday but I’m so glad you had a good time. Christine
